"In my paintings I attempt to capture the effect of a moment on the environment, whether it is the dark shadows cast by the sun on a canal path on a hot summer day, or the light dancing off of the water at sunrise on a beach. I find endless inspiration in the beautiful scenery found on the east coast as well as the opportunities provided to explore new landscape images wherever I am."
